M is for ‘motobikes‘ or xe om, the #1 mode of transport in Vietnam. There are almost as many bikes as there are adults in the country. They are great for commuting, taxiing, delivering loads, and easy on the pocket. Just stand on a corner of the road and look around for a minute; soon there will be a guy on a bike offering to take you to your destination. With a little encouragement, he may even agree to take two of you! Or maybe three . . .
M is also for museums, some of the most interesting I have seen. There’s the morbid Prison museum, the charming Museum of Ethnology, the thrilling Military Museum, which are my top 3.

I would love to hear from you!
