Big city, small sights


A quick mid-week getaway took me to the city of Surabaya, where they’ve let the old Dutch architecture go down the drain, yet preserved their beloved Sampoerna cigarette factory, converting it to a museum. I doggedly went by the book (Lonely Planet) to discover some sights around the old city, and came away pretty pleased. We’ll let the photographs tell the story:
