The Flamboyance of Flamingos

On a recent road trip in Bolivia, I had the privilege of seeing flamingos in the ‘protected wild’. And what a privilege it was. Up close.

A little too close, perhaps.

Flamingos outnumbered people in my line of vision by 100’s to 1.

And they put on quite a show.

If you’re as mad about flamingos as I have become, don’t go out to buy a tacky plastic lawn ornament. Read these fascinating facts and watch the flamingo dance here instead.

It’s no surprise that a group of flamingos is called a flamboyance.
