A disastrous start to my journey (in spite of “Jai Gajanan”) when the airline people at Hanoi gave me some grief about the Malaysian visa that I did not have. Apparently Air Asia does not handle transit passengers and through check-ins, and I was expected to know that somehow.
A bit of yelling (my usual mode of conflict resolution) helped, or maybe it was Souvik’s attempts to calm me down, but they found some regulations that enabled me to fly.
Once in KL, the process was quite straightforward; turns out the Viet folks were unnecessarily getting into a tizzy, and finally at the new-fangled T3 airport at Delhi, it was smooth sailing all the way! (So, Jai Gajanan worked :-D)
gonna send this to my mom
