A dinner to remember

Last night, we went out to eat at Bobby Chinn’s restaurant in Hanoi, with my grandfather. I love the food, so it’s great to eat there once every few months. They have a quirky menu that’s fun to read, and it’s almost disappointing when it’s time to order and give away the menus. But they do have copies that you can takeaway, and it’s worth it, if you like their zany humour.

This time, they had a lot of Indian music playing, which was a surprise. We’d like to think it was for our benefit.

The food was great as usual, but the highlight of the evening was Mr Bobby Chinn himself, who mingled with the diners, and helped me with my coat under Souvik’s watchful eye đŸ˜‰
