Having spent a number of years in various corporate jobs in India, working 11 hours a day 5 days a week, I became a trailing expat spouse in 2011, living first in Vietnam, then in Indonesia, and now in Peru. I spend my days dreaming, hate housework, love my hobbies, need to exercise and lose weight, love to travel, and yes, love my gadgets. Occasionally I get nostalgic pangs and yearn for the corporate life, the sense of achievement, and the security it offered.
